Données d'occurrences des spécimens des plantes envahissantes du Sénégal conservés à l'Herbier de l'IFAN.

Latest version published by Institut Fondamental d’Afrique Noire / Cheikh Anta Diop (IFAN Ch. A. Diop) on Jun 18, 2018 Institut Fondamental d’Afrique Noire / Cheikh Anta Diop (IFAN Ch. A. Diop)

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 100 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Downloads

Download the latest version of this resource data as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A) or the resource metadata as EML or RTF:

Project Data

This project to mobilize biodiversity data and identify conservation priorities is implemented by a consortium of eight African countries – Senegal, Côte-d’Ivoire, Mali, Guinea, DRC, Niger, Madagascar, and Benin. Training workshops organized by the University of Kansas help build the data publishing capacity of project partners. The consortium identifies priority invasive alien species and threatened species for data mobilization, and publishes relevant data from collections in France, Netherlands and Belgium. More than 200,000 records of biodiversity data will be made available through GBIF.org and national portals. Based on published data, the consortium develops distribution maps of priority species, suggests actions to monitor and control the spread of invasive alien species and provides recommendations for the conservation of threatened species.
